The Time Travelers

The old H.G. Wells theme of time travel receives pretty good treatment here. The plot concerns a group of 1960s scientists who stumble 107 years into the future when Franken falls into a time portal. The researching doctor, Foster, and two of his students try to rescue him, but they too are transported to a time when nuclear war has almost totally destrnoyed the human race. The few survivors live underground as they desperately try to construct a spaceship that can take them to a place where they can start a new civilization.
