The Terrace

A disturbing social commentary about a group of rebellious youths that take over the rooftop swimming pool of a Buenos Aires apartment building. The delinquents indulge in sex, drinking, and defiance while their elders try to persuade them to leave. Belita, the 10-year-old granddaughter of the superintendent, is eventually taken hostage by the group. As night falls, the tolerance of the apartment dwellers wears thin, and the residents storm the gang's private party. It is Belita who suffers, however.
