A group of scientists try to stop a filaria epidemic from being spread through some natives by mosquitoes, but the local medicine man refuses to let a modern remedy be used on his tribe. The chief is also against the plan until his son is infested with the threadlike, parasitic worms that cause the horrible disease. He quickly changes his mind, and modern technology triumphs. The cast is comprised of unprofessional actors, and it shows. Though some of the native dances and music give the film a realistic edge, most high school thespian productions have better performances.
