This is an extension of the 1951 film THE PRINCE WHO WAS A THIEF and uses far too much footage from the earlier ALI BABA AND THE FORTY THIEVES as well as footage from some Maria Montez epics. Fifteen years after an ordeal which forced Mann, as Ali Baba, to escape from the evil Mongol
MacLeod, Mann returns with his thieves to Baghdad to lay claim to Lane and start a revolt against the Mongol oppressors. Puglia was in the original ALI BABA AND THE FORTY THIEVES and was called back for this film to help tie together the two films.
