The Stooge

Martin and Lewis team up again, but in a venture that's less slapstick than usual. Martin is cast as a vaudevillian accordion player who asks the sheepish Lewis to join him on stage. The duo rises to fame on the strength of Lewis' antics, but Martin soon decides to go it alone, failing miserably in his attempt. It takes his newlywed wife, Bergen, and money-minded agent Mayehoff to convince Martin that without Lewis he has no act. Moderately amusing, and more than a little autobiographical.
