A standard crime drama which is distinguished by the appearance of Bronson and its interesting, though confused, plot. He is a former New York cop and is working in LA to prevent a Mafia-organized murder plot. Balsam is trying to settle a 40-year-old score against the non-Sicilian
faction of the mob. He is recruiting Vietnam vets to carry out a mass hit since they have the necessary training and lack ties to the organization. Bronson shows everyone that he can be a rock-solid killing machine when he has to be, just as in the rest of his films. Tolerable, as far as this
genre goes.
