The Skipper Surprised His Wife: Review

Navy commander Walker tries to run his household in military fashion after wife Leslie breaks her leg. He goes door to door asking housewives how they do things, then tries to apply their advice to his home. Of course their advice doesn't work that well in his house, and Leslie is grateful when she can return to her job and Walker can go back to sea. This unoriginal, one-joke comedy has some good moments, but not many. The direction is fair, but the cast was clearly more talented than the material required. leave a comment
