Poorly made western features Page as the heroine in the last of her ill-fated series. Price, a crooked lawyer, along with Richmond, are outlaws who want to take over a ranch they think has a gold mine. They murder the owner and his wife, leaving the couple's eight-year-old son an orphan.
The boy's neighbor happens to be Page, who, with the help of O'Brien, rides in to save the day. The idea of a female hero was unusual for the 1930s and was never able to overcome the sexist stereotypes of the series westerns. Page and O'Brien are good in their roles, but the female heroine simply
could not work under the constraints of western formulas.
