The Silent Call

A family must move from Elko, Nevada, to Los Angeles, but, unfortunately, there's no room for the dog. It breaks the heart of Mobley, the overgrown dog's young master, when they have to give the dog to a not-so-nice neighbor until he can be sent for. Naturally, the pooch doesn't wait; he follows the car on the 1000-mile journey until he's reunited with the boy. The dog's journey contains the usual adventures with conventional slice-of-life episodes featuring truckers, hobos, and bad weather until the tearful reunion.
