The Seven Deadly Sins

Some of the greatest names in Italian and French filmmaking put together this seven part movie. Five parts are in French, and two are in Italian. All are well-edited and contain clear, clean dialog. They each deal with one sin: lust, greed, gluttony, laziness, etc. One shows a miser losing not only his money, but also his wife. Another shows the difference between puppy love and pure passion by adults. In one, a cat becomes the object of a woman's affection, rather than her husband, while another shows how a haughty mother and daughter, once on the social register, fall into poverty. The eighth and final sin? Philipe dresses up this surprise ending with his legenda...
