Morales is a young woman trying to hold on to reality as she fights her overwhelming obsessions and neuroses. Dividing her time between her home and her job in a nightclub, Morales is eventually able to overcome her psychological difficulties. An atmospheric work, the film has a fine
hold on its characters and their world. The parallels between Morales' problems and the show business life at the cabaret are well drawn. This project was a thesis film by a UCLA student from Santo Domingo and won the grand prize at France's Toulon Young Cinema Festival.
