The Saint Meets The Tiger

After a two-year hiatus "The Saint" was revived by RKO, though this film was not considered part of the highly successful series. Sinclair returns once more as the hero, finding a man murdered on his doorstep. This begins a string of murders, involving Sinclair in a chase after a gold smuggler who also dabbles in phony mine shares. The dialog is as lame as the plot, inspiring more laughs than anything else. The British cast contribute below-par performances. RKO knew they had a turkey on their hands and handed it over to Republic Studios for US distribution.
