The Runaway

Gallier plays a chemist working as a spy for the Soviet Union in Paris shortly before the German takeover of France. With the imminent coming of the Nazis, Gallier and his wife steal money from their government and attempt to flee to South America. On their trip they are forced to stop at Trinidad, where Williamson does not allow the two to pass without giving up their money. The action leaps 24 years into the future. Williamson is still working as a British agent, now involved in the investigation of a formula that has leaked through security. Once again he is brought into contact with Gallier, this time helping him to escape the ruthless clutches of Soviet agents...
