In the "spaghetti western" mode, but passable, this picture centers on Gemma, a man supposed to be dead. He returns to his village and finds his family held by Sancho and his gang. Gemma doesn't come off as a superhero, which makes this movie believable and realistic. He is just a
frightened man who had to do everything is his power to free his family. Tessari's first "Ringo" film was A PISTOL FOR RINGO (1966).
