Two stories are told in this compelling drama about a secret medical station in the US. Nielsen is a television reporter who comes across a car accident involving a US senator. Near death, the senator is rushed off by ambulance to the hospital. Even though Nielsen has film footage of the accident, hospital personnel tell him no one has been brought in. Nielsen gets even more suspicious when someone from the senator's office calls and reports that the senator is out fishing and was not in an accident.
