Sarrazin plays an alienated social drop-out who accidentally runs over a woman in a rain storm. Though he can prove it was an accident, Sarrazin refuses to cooperate with "the establishment," and is sentenced to a year in prison. There he gets involved in a knifing and manages to escape.
He looks up his old girlfriend, Hershey, and the two fly off to Canada. This is a well-played drama with some sincere performances by Sarrazin and Hershey. Klein, a noted stand-up comedian, provides some humor as the hippie buddy. The plot, however, is full of illogical actions, and the dialog
