The Prowler

A WW II veteran returns home to find his girlfriend carrying on with someone else at a graduation dance, in this routine slasher picture. He kills the two-timing gal and her lover with a pitchfork, and the annual dance is cancelled for the next 35 years. When it is finally reinstituted, the crazed vet heads off to teach those teens a lesson they'll never forget. The real reason for the existence of this unexceptional film is to show off the artistry of special-effects man Savini.
