Tim Conway and Don Knotts play a pair of dim-witted Scotland Yard sleuths who visit a mansion to investigate the murders of a millionaire and his wife. They meet a bizarre variety of folks--a samurai cook, a mass-murdering butler, and a well-endowed maid--all of whom get killed off, one at a time. Their antics are embellished with routine haunted-house scenarios, including hidden passages and mysterious characters. It's funny if you enjoy mindless humor. Set in London in the 1920s, the picture actually was filmed at Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. leave a comment
