1932, Movie, NR, 73 mins

Keaton never found material in his talkies that came close to his silent work, and even in 1932 his star had already dimmed greatly. The main problem with this film is the overly rewritten script that was put through the ringer to make it fit Keaton's screen persona. The tone is inconsistent, and the script is unable to sustain interest for 73 minutes. Durante's performance is the highlight of the film. He manages to upstage Keaton in every scene they're in together. leave a comment
