Nothing new in this melodramatic trash about juvenile delinquents. Damon is the leader of a gang of spoiled suburban jerks who cruise in their sports cars looking for parties to crash. The reason behind these kids' bad habits is their parents' bad habits. This is made clear when Damon and friends crash a motel party and find Damon's mother, Dowling, the drunken center of attention. This shocking sight changes Damon's party habits, and the adults realize what a poor example they have been setting. Frances Farmer, in her first film role since 1942, plays a concerned parent, and Oscar-winning child actor Bobby Driscoll, who would later become a drug addict, is a square teenager. leave a comment
