The heroic tale of real-life skier Jill Kinmont (played by Hassett), whose 1956 Olympic hopes were shattered when she took a paralyzing fall in Utah's Snow Cup race. The movie takes you through Hassett's depression over her fate, her break-up with her fiance who can't accept her
