Part of Roger Corman's quartet of westerns, this one stars Denning as a gunfighter who returns home after serving a federal prison sentence, only to discover that the town has split into two factions. Much to his dismay, his girl friend, Castle, has become the villainous leader of the "bad"
side and will stop at nothing to ensure that lawlessness prevails. Repulsed by Castle's obnoxious personality (and her gunslinger Connors), Denning joins the "good" folks, led by politician Owen and his daughter Downs, with whom he becomes enamored. Things come to a head when the sheriff and Owen
