A trio of Prague-situated stories released as one film. The first two stories--"The Bread Shoes" and "The Poisoned Poisoner," directed by Schorm and Makovek respectively--are tales set in the Middle Ages. But the story that is the most interesting in this collection is a new version of the Yiddish legend "The Golem." In this retelling, Klusak plays a Polish rabbi who is asked to create a living clay man by Rudolph II. The famous Rabbi Loew learns of this and has Brezkova, a mute girl, seduce Klusak. She wipes the magic formula that gives the golem its powers off the creature's forehead, and the golem crumbles to pieces, destroying Klusak as well. It is then learned...
