The Night Heaven Fell

Another silly Vadim-Bardot collaboration which sees Bardot as a convent girl on holiday in Spain who meets and runs off with Boyd, a good-for-nothing crook who has murdered her uncle and seduced her aunt. With Bardot's help he escapes, and together they spend illicit days in the mountains having all manner of sex while running from the cops. Eventually, the law catches up and Bardot dies in a hail of bullets. The production was plagued with problems. Everything from the weather (some of the worst in Spanish history) to thespian temperament (Boyd and Bardot loathed each other) seemed to have combined to sabotage the film.
