Prominent businessman Tappert gets a taste of "free love" and discovers that he can't purge himself of his old moralistic hangups. This attempt to show traditional values in conflict with those of the late 1960s seems trite in retrospect. Savage reedited this film (originally released in
1968 in West Germany), bringing new actors onto the project, adding several scenes, and cutting others. Among the notable additions to the recut version were former middleweight boxing champions Rocky Graziano and Jake La Motta.
