Comedy has Haines and Torrence as a couple of con men, aided by pickpocket Durante. Their pursuit of money and girls makes for a bunch of laughs. Haines goes straight after falling for Hyams and helping her family save their home. This marked the first major appearance for Durante, whose
strange blend of humor stole the show, even with a good performance on the part of Haines. This was the first of G.R. Chester's stories to be filmed as a talkie. Previous "adventures" had been movie fodder for silents since 1915.
