Boring, stiff film that casts White as a pampered heiress who has been dating Page. He tells her he finds her selfish ways insufferable, so she breaks off the romance. Gilmore makes his move, but his mind is not on love, just her money. Loy, as his sister, spurs him on. He had been enjoying the fine life until he lost his money in the stock market crash of 1929. He corrals White to the altar, but right before the "I do's" she realizes her heart belongs to Page. Even though White was a popular screen star in the late 1920s and early 1930s, she lost some points with this one. This was Loy's last film for First National-Warner Bros. leave a comment
