This movie was originally produced to train police in drug law enforcement and had a limited release in 1958. It's a semidocumentary which, in addition to depicting the evils of drug addiction, also serves as something of a primer for aspiring drug users, detailing how drugs are obtained
and used. Professional actors portray the alleged real-life film characters, with little dialog utilized since most of the story is told in narration. A curious theatrical release which might serve as a companion piece to REEFER MADNESS (1936).
