A real curiosity that Swedish director Hellstrom evidently intended to be a parody of low-budget murder-and-mayhem films. Set in Jermome, Arizona, the film centers on the bizarre Perry family, headed by Jones, who seems to be Mr. Perry but in reality makes himself up to look like his murdered wife. The three Perry daughters are psychotic Strasberg, spider-loving Sterling, and androgynous Wilcox. Lord, a Hungarian refugee, stumbles into the brood when Strasberg picks him up while he is hitchhiking and brings him back to the family gas station.
