Routine murder-in-a-hospital story features Cortez as a doctor investigating the murder of a fellow medic known to use an experimental ether substitute. Doctors, nurses and orderlies are suspect, and the recipe also calls for a bit of blackmail and romance. An orderly is proved guilty at the end. The roles are well played (watch for an early appearance by Astor) but the formula story line is too straightforward to be of much interest. leave a comment
