The Mummy's Shroud

Uninspired mummy epic set in 1920 features Phillips as a rich industrialist who finances an Egyptian expedition to retrieve a pharaoh's mummy for display in a museum. The expedition succeeds, and the pharaoh's slave, who had been removed from the tomb earlier, revives and sets out to murder all involved in the expedition. He dispatches several members of the group and is about to eliminate Buck and Kimberley when the latter recites the Words of Death on the mummy's shroud, reducing him to dust. The mummy was designed to look like the real thing rather than the Hollywood version, but the picture's still a less than memorable outing.
