The Moonraker

With the end of the English Civil War the Royalists and the Roundheads are still at odds. Baker, a cavalier, has a bounty on his head and the Royalist must sneak the king, Raymond, from England to France. He sets up a ship to pick up Raymond, but Baker's scheme is discovered by one of Le Mesurier's agents. Cornered by Le Mesurier's Roundheads, Baker outsmarts and out-duels Le Mesurier's men and gets Raymond out of the country. The action scenes are compelling viewing. Syms is the lady with whom Baker falls in love and Arne is Baker's arch-rival.
