The Monster Of London City

A tame German horror film that takes place in contemporary London during a stage production about Jack the Ripper. Lead actor Felmy, who is in love with the fiancee of his best friend, Schoenherr, gets shaken when several murders patterned after those in the play are committed. He continues his role in the play until the night he discovers that his prop knife is now a real one. He runs from the stage and is led to a hotel room by a mysterious phone call; in the room he finds a dead prostitute. The police are about to arrest him when a little girl clears his name.
