The Mesa Of Lost Women

Coogan is a mad scientist a la Uncle Fester (the role he played on TV's "Addams Family") who spends his time in the Mexican desert tinkering around and enlarging tarantulas to gigantic proportions. Another pet project of his is creating a race of savage superwomen with extra-long fingernails. When a plane is forced down in Coogan's vicinity, the reign of terror begins. Two folks do escape, however, before the mesa is bombed into oblivion. It's a toss-up as to which is worse, the script or the direction. The eccentric guitar-piano score was reused by Edward D.
