The Master Race

This end-of-the-war cautionary tale stars George Coulouris as von Beck, a zealous Nazi officer who, at the close of WW II, is ordered to infiltrate a small Belgian town, there to sow hatred and dissension among its citizens in preparation for the coming Fourth Reich, which will someday rise from the ashes of the near-defeated Germany. Released towards the end of WW II, this was Hollywood's attempt to warn the world that the events leading to the war could easily be repeated.
