The Man With Nine Lives

Karloff plays a near-crazed scientist searching for a cure for cancer. He freezes patients in a state of suspended animation. When the family of a man Karloff has frozen comes snooping around, Karloff accidentally drugs them along with himself, but they are revived ten years later by a researcher, Pryor. Karloff goes at it with renewed fervor, knowing he is close to finding the cure. Karloff is a gem in his role as the scientist, and the rest of the cast well supports the Karloff character. The director keeps the suspense going throughout.
