The Man Who Dared: Review

An innocent family becomes the object of obtuse malice from a gang of hoods when the family witnesses events that could send one of gangland's leaders to the electric chair. Overcoming the bodyguards provided by the law, the hoods easily kidnap one family member, prompting grandpa Grapewin to rescue his grandson from an almost certain death. This remake of the 1931 STAR WITNESS lacks the strength of its predecessor, mainly because William Wellman was not at the helm as in the earlier version. leave a comment
