The Man In Black

James is a wealthy man married to the shrewish Davies. She wants to inherit every last pence he owns and tries to drive James's daughter mad in order to fulfill her dream. But James catches on to his wife and fakes his own death. He then poses as a gardener to spy on Davies. The story is drivel, with some unintentionally campy plot developments. It was adapted from a British radio series, perhaps proving that some dramas are better heard than seen.
