Wayne is a U.S. Army captain who is sent to Monterey to get Mexican landowners to register their property under Spanish land grants or lose them to public domain. Reed is the perpetrator of land swindles who is trying to kill Spanish landowner McKee. Wayne not only stops the swindler, but also the marriage of Hall to villain Reed. This was Wayne's last series western for Warner Bros. leave a comment
