Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neal are teamed in this boxing-based screwball comedy in the same vein as their earlier, more successful collaboration, WHAT'S UP, DOC? She is Hillary Kramer, a bankrupt perfume magnate; he is Kid Natural, a less than talented prizefighter-turned-driving instructor whose contract she took over as a tax write-off in more prosperous times. Now Hillary is determined to make some money on her investment. Becoming Kid's manager and immersing herself in the very male world of prizefighting, she forces him back into the ring.
