De Souza is an ex-RAF pilot hired by Aslan to fly a mysterious package from France to England. The pilot plans to keep the package for himself, however. Aslan anticipated this and has planted a bomb on the plane. But Reed, Aslan's secretary, saves De Souza from being blown out of the
sky.
