The Mad Ghoul

Good, creepy fun starring Zucco as yet another mad scientist (he's a professor at a respected university), this time goofing around with an ancient Egyptian gas that turns anyone who sniffs it into a white-faced zombie who must drain living people's heart fluid to survive. Nasty doctor Zucco gives a dose to his unwitting assistant, Bruce, who ends up shuffling around terrorizing the campus, including his lovely fiancee, Ankers. Nosy reporter Armstrong figures out what's going on and gets killed for his trouble, but eventually Bruce turns on Zucco and gives him a whiff of his own ancient Egyptian medicine.
