The Little Convict

In addition to singing and acting in this tolerable animated children's film, Harris is its narrator. THE LITTLE CONVICT tells the story of an English lad of 13 who is convicted of aiding a highwayman by holding his horse. The boy is deported to Australia, where he hits it off well with the tough but fair convicts and wins favor from the governor by helping to save the official's life. The animated characters are super-imposed on live action backgrounds shot in an amusement park called Old Sydney Town. Although this film is okay for kids, adults will find it hard to take.
