Angeli is a naive young artist. She becomes involved with Sanders, whom she thinks is an art dealer. In reality he is a member of a gang of art thieves, led by master crook Granger. Before she realizes what's going on Angeli is caught up in the international art smuggling underground.
Though the locales are nicely photographed, this is a pretty dull picture. No suspense is maintained and there is an overabundance of stereotypes and cliches. Brooks, who had only recently begun directing his screenplays at this point, shows little of the talent that he would display in IN COLD
BLOOD.
