The Lift

A young man convinces a London millionaire to use his airplane for business purposes, and, after meeting the man's two daughters, he seduces them. He tries to return to an old girl friend but ends up alone. The script often rambles, and the characters are poorly drawn. The direction, by contrast, is imaginative, giving a new look to London locales. The cast gives it their best despite script weaknesses. Though laughable in many parts (especially in a poorly done nude scene), this has a freshness to it that makes it worth a look.
