Western yarn has Allen trying to keep an ambitious Anderson from taking over all the land in the district from the cattle ranchers. Anderson tries to dry up the valley so that land will become cheap. He then plans to buy it all, build a dam, and become wealthy selling electric power. Allen spoils the scheme when he discovers another watering hole.
