During his stay in London, Fairbanks produced a number of short segment films whose main target seemed to be British TV. In general, these films were not worth serious consideration. However, two of these short films were combined and released theatrically. In the first of these stories, Fairbanks stars as a disillusioned inventor of a new miracle drug who is saved from suicide when he gets a chance to use the drug to save a young boy. The other story centers on the fear that envelops an Irish family when its patriarch becomes obsessed with a scheme presented by a devious double-talker. Luckily, the local priest intervenes and shows the patriarch the folly of his ways. leave a comment
