TBS' The Bill Engvall Show debuted on Tuesday to 3.9 million total viewers, making it the No. 3 most-watched basic-cable sitcom telecast ever, trailing only the first two episodes of TBS' House of Payne.... The Last Mimzy topped the DVD sales chart last week, while Shooter was the No. 1 rental for a third straight cycle.... Standing still pays. Despite no longer featuring the vocal stylings of one Paige Turco, the computer-animated TMNT update topped the weekend box office with $25.45 million. Rounding out the top five were 300 ($20.5 million, for a to-date tally of $162.4), Mark Wahlberg's Shooter (opening with $14.5), Wild Hogs ($14.4 mil) and The Last Mimzy (earning $10.2 mil in its debut).Among other new releases, The Hills Have Eyes 2, Adam Sandler's Reign Over Me and Pride placed at Nos. 7, 8 and 9, respectively.
Hello, Office freaks and fans. It has been another interesting week on The Office for those of us who are lucky enough to get to be a part of this show. Last night we all went to the opening of Rainn's new movie, The Last Mimzy. It was great that the whole cast could be there (sans Steve). Rainn was so great. He is such a great actor. He makes it look very easy. We had a great time at the party afterwards. It's a kid's movie and there were kids there and they loved Rainn when he was on screen. So did the adults. Back to The Office. We are shooting like crazy these days. I am sworn to secrecy so I cant say much. We've been on location and in cars a lot the past few weeks. Its been fun and exhausting.Life's getting a little weird. Get this: They are shooting a pilot in my building this week. What does that mean? Well, now it is show business 24/7! Complete with trailers, trucks honey wagons, security, P.A.'s, A.D.'s, walkies and craft service. Weird. (It's not an NBC pilot...
