Another Disney family film that stresses (to the point of ridiculousness) the importance of treating animals kindly, THE LAST FLIGHT OF NOAH'S ARK features Elliott Gould as Noah Dugan, a crabby airline pilot who is talked into flying animals to an island desperately in need of living beasts. Young Bobby and Julie (Ricky Schroder and Tammy Lauren) stow aboard to watch over the animals. The script is written without any adherence to realism, but the film is directed with a strong belief in the project, and Gould and Genevieve Bujold give good performances. leave a comment
