Chatterton plays a stage actress who is brought to the aristocratic home of her fiance, Forbes. Here she meets his cousin Rathbone, a man of questionable moral attributes. The two have a brief affair before she leaves both men to return to the stage. Written with a bent toward sophisticated
humor, the script is handled well by the entire cast. The theme song is entitled "Say It with a Smile."
